SolChey Studios is the creative practice of Cheyenne Powell, a director, producer and photographer working between San Diego and Los Angeles. The studio takes projects from first conversation through direction, production, edit and delivery, which means the intent set in pre-production is still intact when the final file is handed over.
The work spans commercial and branded content, documentary and episodic media, event coverage, editorial photography and full brand identity systems. A large share of it is made with foundations, public agencies and nonprofits working in foster care, education and community development.
Photography is offered in digital, film, or both together, not as an upsell, but because grain, latitude and pace genuinely change what a picture says. Post-production happens in-house in AVID Media Composer and the Adobe Creative Suite.
